“El Mexicano Restaurant” was founded by two mexicans nationals on July 2007, in the city of Shanghai, People's Republic of China.  After receive all the licenses and approvals from the Chinese government it initiates operations the beginning of 2008 under the commercial name of “El Mexicano Restaurant”, in the Yangpu district city of Shanghai.

“El Mexicano Restaurant” is considered by the local customer as a unique restaurant of authentic mexican flavor in Shanghai. “El Mexicano Restaurant” obtains the acceptance of important segments of the Chinese market. During the second semester of the 2008 “El Mexicano Restaurant” expanded its market by establishing a specialized delivery service becoming one of the most successful restaurant’s delivery service in Shanghai reaching  districts such as JingAn, XuHui, LuWan, Changning, MingHan, HuangPu, PuTuo, YangPu, Hongkou and some areas of PuDong.
